Becky taking a high damage body attack. With enough damage to the area this attack is one that can activate her "Why You" line.

Both the "not yet" and "why you" lines are common high damage phrases among the Roses in Rumble Roses XX.

Description[]

The first game just as the second one has voice lines for when a Rose takes a hit. The original game's voices were rather exaggerated and generic at all damage levels with Reiko Hinomoto infamously making a weird loud uninteligible sound when taking a hit. The sequel game attempted to mitigate this by giving the Roses more appropriate at each level of damage voice sounds when they take a hit. This allows players to visibly gauge where to continue hitting their opponents and to a degree is more accurate than the visual signs such as the holding of an area and the Damaged Knockdown

Becky's Why You Quote

Not yet and why you are the two most common quotes among the Roses to express their discomfort of their damaged areas being hit by a high impact attack, Both versions of Reiko alongside Noble Rose and even the Benikage line use the "not yet" line to indicate a highly damaged area after taking a hard hit while most notably Becky and her alter ego use the "why you" equivalent. Other Roses can have their own equivalent with Miss Spencer and Dixie having a specific moan associated with their high damaged quotes. Evil Rose despite being depicted as mute also has her own uninteligible yet discomforted sound for when she takes high damage on a damaged area.

Tactics[]

Naturally while all Roses share this audible cue for their opponents Roses with higher pitched voices such as Becky more clearly can be heard than other opponents. Roses that share these two specific lines are usually more disadvantaged as opponents might not be familiar with the equivalents of other Roses or might miss the sound on some of the more silent Roses. All of the guests and Lady X lines do not share an equivalent sound, while the guest are rather fragile anyways the Lady X lines become harder to pin as even visually damaged robots can kick out rather quickly from attempts.

These cues do become less useful for submission characters like Makoto Aihara, who's own quote is a rather hurt and alarmed "aaaah" sound, who simply attempt to put the same submission on her opponent over and over until she can't escape and submits.
